SFA to Bid for Olympic Spot

Delegates for the next Summer Olympic Games on 2016 are filing their bid to compete in the most anticipated tournament. Among those leading the troupe of possible contenders are the delegates from Africa, headed by Bijay Gadjjar, the President of the Squash Federation of Africa (SFA). Gadijar is scheduled to grace the General Assembly of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (ANOCA) to be held next week in Abuja, Nigeria. The verdict of their bid will be finalized during this event.

Squash is among the leading sports events patronized by a significant lot in Africa. The leading players of the sport come from Egypt, from which the numbers one, three and four world players in the men’s division originate.

Gajjar will be delivering his bid to the National Olympic Committee of the African region. His advocacy leans on highlighting the challenges that are posed to the Africans, and their successful means to overcome these.
