Certainly Snagging Fun Singles Events in the USA

You guys know I eschew drama, ’cause its hard to date at my age. Get this, merely hours ago I broke my resolution and smoked two packs of cigarettes. To ease the pain that comes from being alone, surprise! Don’t judge me (j/k!). What does this mean? Actually, that’s when I seriously considered singles events in Denver or Dallas.

I already knew the solution. I can mix up my social life at a professional dating service, Denver Great Expectations. That sounds like a plan. Why do I bring it up? When I was a little tipsy at Julie’s soccer finals at Oak Park last night, Richard had to know if I have settled down with the woman I’m going to marry. They always bring this up, every year. I laughed and spit out, “I’m working on it, chill out.”

Even “The Twerp” (my nephew, age 9) continued harping on the topic of true relationships. I joked to the family gang: “Hey look, my romantic destiny is right over there!”

How can they be so rude? No one knew what I was talking about, as usual. Shortly after, I emailed my astrologist just to get some perspective. Why can’t I stop thinking about this! I would have learned more by asking my son. Billy, who is now a Budist monk or something suggested that I browse the singles profiles at Great Expectations. I said, “That would do the trick.” I have some good friends. I am truly grateful for this dating service full of fun and desirable Dallas singles.

When I started, dating events were a novel thing because I’m a traditionalist of sorts. I was a bit nervous at first, that I noticed I wore mismatched socks by accident. This slight disaster could not put an end to another incredible Great Expectations event. The evening was full of crazy-fun mingling. The one cool thing that really struck me were the many enjoyable people I met, all available singles.

Appearing at these glorious Great Expectations Dallas singles events, I met a handful of marvelous guys and gals who I could tell share a parallel understanding when it comes to dating. I really shouldn’t allow anyone get on my back about living the bachelor’s life after all these years. Astoundingly enough, mingling the Great Expectations way is my pleasure and just what I’ve been looking for.
